What we appreciate most about Robert and Kathy as teachers of ballroom dancing is that they break down even the most complicated dance patterns into small steps that can be readily mastered. Despite their own virtuosity on the dance floor, they haven't lost touch with what it feels like to learn a dance for the first time. They demonstrate the basic elements such as how the man should lead the step and how to maintain the correct frame. At the same time they focus attention on the fine points of a particular dance pattern in a way that helps more advanced dancers improve their style and confidence. Best of all, their love of dance and attunement to each other are contagious!

Our ballroom dancing classes with Robert and Kathy have opened a completely new world to us at a time when we needed to grow as a couple and find new interests.  As instructors, they are highly dedicated and truly interested in helping all their students learn the love of dance. Watching them model and break down steps to help their students learn the basics and then move on to more challenging patterns has helped us learn amazing steps in each dance.  Ron and I have loved all our classes with this dynamic dancing couple over the last few years. Their patience and knowledge of the dance techniques are outstanding.  They both have the ability to instruct and motivate their students to challenge themselves. We have never missed a semester and we always look forward to a new semester of dancing with Robert and Kathy.  We know you will have fun learning to dance with their new instructional lessons.
